We recognize all creation as blessed by God and respect the inherent value of all living things; we value constructive action and supportive community. Our team purposes include empowerment through resource sharing, education, advocacy for sustainable practices, partnership with community groups, and enjoying the beauty and wonder of God’s creation. 

 

The Creation Care Team offers a “compost taxi” on Sunday mornings for those who would like to compost but don’t have the space.  It has installed a pollinator garden beside the Rock Schoolhouse.  The team has led adult book studies on environmental topics.  It provides regular announcements about what the average person can do to make a difference.
