Pastor Dennis has served for twenty-one years in Authorized Ministry in the United Church of Christ, uniting people in outreach to the wider community. He was ordained on May 7, 2023, continuing a journey of faithful service that guides his ministry today. In addition to pastoral duties, Dennis volunteers on the Emotional and Spiritual Care Team of the Heartland Conference UCC Disaster Response Network.
 

On June 1, 2026, Bethany United Church of Christ called him to serve as the designated pastor of the congregation. Dennis and his wife Nadine are from Orrville, Ohio (Wayne County), where they were born and raised. They are the proud parents of one daughter, Alison, who is married to Andrew Cook; they live in Springboro. Dennis and Nadine have two wonderful and amazing Grandchildren, Cooper and Lily.
