Pastor John’s preaching is gospel-based, easy to understand, and dynamic.  He takes the Bible seriously but not always literally— and teaches how the message of Jesus Christ is relevant to our modern times.

 

John is an adult convert to Christianity and was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 1992.  In addition to being a congregational pastor, he has served as the assistant director of an urban soup kitchen and trained as a hospital chaplain.
